Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-06-21

These plain-language terms cover bookings with Good Neighbor Dog Care — Maxwell's dog-care service in the Seattle area. They set clear, fair expectations and will be formalized as the business grows.

Booking & confirmation

Submitting the booking form sends a request. Maxwell confirms it by email; a booking isn't final until you receive that confirmation.

Payment

You're invoiced after the service (typically about two hours after it ends), payable on receipt. Prices shown while booking are estimates based on the time booked and the number of dogs.

Changes & cancellations

Need to change or cancel? Reply to your confirmation or email bookings@maxwellburton.com as early as you can — and Maxwell will do the same if anything comes up.

Your dog's care

You confirm your dog's details (temperament, health, vet) are accurate. If you authorize emergency vet care on the booking form, Maxwell may seek treatment — up to any cap you set — if you can't be reached.

Care & liability

Maxwell provides attentive, good-faith care, but isn't liable for pre-existing conditions or outcomes outside reasonable control. Dogs are accepted at the owner's risk.

Updates to these terms

These terms may change; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continuing to book means you accept the terms in effect at that time.
